Aside from buying notebooks or a commercial pen with a developer kit, what are my options? Obviously the printing technology is proprietary so Logitech can make money selling/licensing notepaper. There's always the concern you're at work and run out of paper or travelling etc.
So are there any options? I noticed XPaper (link below) does anyone have experience with this. I only glanced at the site but it looks like the idea is to print your document, mark it up with the digital pen and then upload the pen data and XPath will merge and create a PDF. Seems like a pricey solution if all I'm interested in is being able to print my own paper once in a while. Any other solutions out there?

You still have to buy the pre-printed XPaper. The idea is that you then print your documents on XPaper. You can't actually print your own XPaper, so you'll still need a stock of the paper to print on. It's not a software-only solution.

You may want to take another look at Xpaper. An updated version released this fall now lets you print your own pattern.
